<돼지 조각> 은 공장식 가축 시스템의 ‘최소한의 시간, 최대한 많이’와 같은 생산 방식에서 모티브를 얻은 작업이다.

 

먼저 돼지의 여러 부위를 스캐너에 올려 A4 종이에 대량 출력한다. 이를 구기고 고정시킨 뒤 빠른 시간내 다양한 입체 형태로 약 1000개 가량을 만들었다. 결과적으로 고기와 유사한 극 사실적인 성격을 띄며, 실제 고기가 아님을 깨달았을 때 개념적으로 가볍고 휘발 될 수 있는, 동시에 그럴싸해 보이는 종이 조각으로서 인간의 ‘효율성’ 에 대하여 환기하고자 한다.

<Pig Piece> is a work based on the production method of the factory-style livestock system, such as "minimum time, as much as possible."

First, different parts of a pig are placed on a scanner and output in large quantities on A4 paper. After being crumpled and fixed, about 1,000 of them were made in various three-dimensional shapes as fast as I could. As a result, it has a hyper-realistic personality similar to real meat. When it is realized that it is not actual meat, it can be conceptually light and volatile, while at the same time evoking human "efficiency" as a plausible piece of paper.
