보통 가축 돼지는 사육 기간의 180일째에 도축 된다.

나는 타자의 삶을 체화하기위해, 유년시절 ‘깜지쓰기’와 같은 체벌의 경험을 떠올려 스스로에게 일종의 징벌을 내린다. 180일 동안 돼지의 하루를 1 페이지로 설정하여 돼의 ‘ㄷ’ 부터 지의 ‘ㅣ’ 까지 수기로 작성한다.

 

180장이 모이면 ‘돼지’ 라는 단어가 인위적으로 늘어나고 있는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 동시에 노동 집약적인 행위와 반복의 한계로 오는 오류(오타)를 포함하여 누군가에 의해 끊임없이 변형되는 기이한 과정을 경험하도록 표현했다.

In order to embody others’ lives, I recalled my childhood experience of corporal punishment such as "Writing Lines" and imposed a kind of punishment on myself.

 A day of pigs is set to one page for 180 days, and from each letter of 돼지(pigs),which is from 'ㄷ' to 'ㅣ' is written by hand. A visual image of the repeated words shows 돼지 being artificially increased when 180 pages are collected.

 

It is expressed to experience such a strange process that

is constantly being increased and transformed by someone resulting from labor-intensive behavior and errors (typos) that came from the limits of repetition.
